Objective In order to solve the problems of manpower and time cost in routine line inspection using existing equipment,
we developed a novel detector of hospital network twisted-pair line sequence to improve the efficiency of hospital network wiring.
Methods The encoder and the decoder were used to encode and decode the twisted-pair lines, and the encoder and tester were
fabricated to realize the remote measurement of the twisted-pair line number. Results The detector could test the large number of
twisted-pair lines remotely and quickly with only one person. Conclusion The detector can greatly improve the efficiency of the
twisted-pair line number measurement, save time and labor, and is worthy of popularization and application.
