Abstract:The primary techniques in temperature field simulation of liver tumor include thermal deposition calculation, bioheat
dissipation solving and target tissue thermal damage area estimation. The ablation zone is mainly affected by biological
tissue characteristic parameters (thermophysical parameters and electrical parameters), the heat sink effect of large vessels and
radiofrequency ablation electrode needles. In this paper, the principles of radiofrequency ablation of liver tumors, temperature field
simulation and the effect factors of radiofrequency ablation were reviewed. The problems with RFA modeling and simulation were
also summarized.
