Research and Design of Mobile-Split Type PICC Dressing Vehicle

Abstract:Objective To propose a dressing vehicle, which could apply to peripherally inserted central venous catheters (PICC)
catheterization after surgery. Methods This article described the basics of PICC, routine care methods and common complications.
We analyzed the conventional PICC dressing process problems, and proposed a mobile-split type PICC dressing vehicle, which was
suitable for use in the PICC dressing room, general wards and sterile ward. Results The dressing car could freely adjust the height
of the operating table. It could also be flexible to adjust the patient’s and upper limb angle and height. The PICC dressing vehicle
could provide a curved surface and a humane touch bracket. What’s more, removable upper limb stent, which could be partially
disinfected to meet the needs of patients in sterile ward. Conclusion The dressing car can simplify the operation of the dressing, and
can improve the comfort of the patients in the dressing process. It has a certain clinical value and research significance.
