Abstract:Combined with ultrasonic guidance and manual venipuncture, we designed a low power consumption and portable
automatic venipuncture device. The position of the puncture vessel was detected by type-B ultrasonic, and the punctures position
was selected, then the system could recognize the vein of ultrasonic image and calculate the corresponding puncture distance, and the
controller drived the needle reached the destination. The structure of the puncture device was designed on the basis of palm B-mode
ultrasonography. This device adopted the micro stepping motor as the driving motor, and the STM32F105 chip was used as the main
control chip. The software and hardware design of the control system was completed in a modular manner. The test results showed
that this device could drive the needle reaching the expected position accurately under the guidance of type-B ultrasonic, and achieve
the function of venipuncture.
