Dosimetric Test for Stereotactic Radiotherapy System of D2SRS

Abstract:Objective To carry out a clinical dosimety reliability test and research for the radiotherapy system of dual camera 2 mm
stereotactic radiosurgerg (D2SRS). Methods We randomly selected 20 cases which received radiotherapy, including 7 cases of
intracranial tumors, 6 cases of lung cancer and 7 cases of liver cancer. Then CT images and RT structures of 20 cases were separately
transported to TiGRT TPS and Eclipse11.0 system by DICOM network, and radiation treatment planning design were performed.
The dosimetric parameters of target and organ at risk (OAR) of two groups were acquireed and statistical analysis was carried out.
Absolute dose and two-dimensional dose of two intensity-modulated plan groups was eparately verified, and their dose verification
results were compared. Results Two groups were able to meet the clinical dose requirements, and the dose parameters of target such
as D98, D50, D02, CI and HI were no significantly statistical difference (P= 0.563, 0.175, 0.372, 0.265, 0.245). There were no significant
differences in Dmean of whole brain, heart, esophagus, liver and kidneys, Dmax of brain stem and spinal cord, V20 of both lungs (P=0.224,
0.890, 0.530, 0.750, 0.082, 0.790, 0.180, 0.795). The dose verification results of Eclipse and TiGRT indicated that the point dose error
was (0.70±1.44, 0.57±1.86, t=0.268, P=0.796), and the tow-dimensional dose Gamma analysis was (96.8%±0.9%, 97.3%±1.2%,
t=2.031, P=0.056). Conclusion The radiotherapy system of D2SRS is upto the similar level of the imported equipment in the dose
precision, and this independent industry can be promoted to the clinical application in clinical perspective.
