Abstract:Objective To investigate the application value of ultrasound guided large puncture core needle biopsy in early breast
lumps. Methods A total of 89 cases of patients with little breast lumps who underwent the ultrasound guided large puncture core
needle biopsy were included in this study. The diagnose results of ultrasound and the postoperative pathology results were compared.
Results The sensitivity, specificity and the accuracy of ultrasound diagnosis were 82.0%, 88.0%, and 79.0%, respectively. The
sensitivity, specificity and accuracy of ultrasound guided core needle biopsy were 90.0%, 89.0%, and 94.0%, respectively. The
accuracy of the ultrasound large puncture biopsy group was significantly higher than that of the ultrasound diagnosis group, and
the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion For the ultrasonic diagnosis of early breast cancer, ultrasound
can identify the uneven hypo echo, border echo, calcification and blood flow, but it is not suitable for all the tumor diagnosis. The
ultrasound guided large puncture core needle biopsy can improve the diagnostic accuracy of early breast masses and it is safety and
worthy of application.
