Abstract:The detection of “O curve” has great value to the quality control of blood pressure simulator and the traceability of
noninvasive blood pressure. Based on the analysis of the principle and rules of output oscillating wave of blood pressure simulator,
the novel measurement method of “O curve” was proposed in this paper, and the “O curve” detection equipment of blood pressure
simulator was also designed as following the virtual instrument design technology. The experimental results showed that the
developed equipment could achieve the accurate quantitative assessment of the repeatability and accuracy of the output “O curve”
on the testing Fluke’s BP Pump 2 blood pressure simulator. This study provides a feasible technical means on the test equipment for
blood pressure simulator quality control and measurement, so the research products have great application promotion value and the
related further study also has reference value for the technical standards of blood pressure simulator.
