Abstract:In order to fix patients with pelvic cancer who use conventional fixture device, this study
designed a new type of fixture device as a supplement of the conventional one. The device was made by
carbon fiber, aluminum alloy, velcro strap, ABS engineering plastics, organic glass, etc., and was consist
of four parts: carbon fiber body fixture device, stretch and contact movement component, leg fasten
component and slip component. This device can adjust the range of leg separation and fix the leg with
fixing band. To avoid the occurrence of artifact, plastic screw was used to fix it on conventional fixture
device. This device can be matched with the conventional fixture device to improve setup accuracy and
reduce patient displacement error.
