Abstract:Objective To reduce the potential risk of cardiac defibrillators in their use, and to further
deepen the quality control of cardiac defibrillators. Methods According to national measurement
technology criterions, Phase 3 Defibrillator Analyzer was adopted to perform a quality control test
of cardiac defibrillators, including normal inspection, synchronous mode testing and charging time
inspection, post-defibrillation ECG (Electrocardiograph) input signal recovery time, energy discharge
testing etc. Results Altogether 133 defibrillators were tested from 2015 to 2016. The unqualified reasons
of cardiac defibrillator quality control items were analyzed and relevant measures and solutions were put
forward. Conclusion In clinical practices, the quality control of the cardiac defibrillator should focus
on whether it was in the effective control process rather than simply on the reduced failure rate of the
unqualified cardiac defibrillator quality control items.
