Abstract:Objective To develop a medical equipment condition monitoring system based on Internet of
things technology so as to strengthen the management of medical equipment. Methods On the basis of
the medical equipment alarming indicator system, data acquisition and transmission and alarming signal
sensor devices were added. And wireless technology was used to send alarming signals to the terminal
server where data were analyzed and processed so as to find the causes of potential failures of medical
equipment. Results The system recorded all the abnormal state information of medical equipment and
provided valuable reference information for troubleshooting of medical equipment. Conclusion The
medical equipment condition monitoring system based on Internet of things technology could eliminate
safety hazards of medical equipment in a timely manner and ensure the safety of clinical use.
