Abstract:Glomerular filtration rate (GFR) is an important indicator for evaluation of renal functions for patients. A software was designed in this paper, which could automatically apply MDRD equation and CKD-EPI equation to calculate the GFR. It can also be used to stage the patients with chronic renal failure (CKD) by calculating the results. Additionally, the software also could be integrated with the doctor workstation to achieve automatic data extraction and provide references for doctors.
