Abstract:Sleep apnea hypopnea syndrome (SAHS) is a highly prevalent but poorly understood dysfunctional disorder that includes
central sleep apnea syndrome and obstructive sleep apnea hypopnea syndrome. At present, more and more experts and scholars try to
study the detection of SAHS from different angles, put forward a variety of sleep apnea detection algorithms, and expect algorithms
to simplify the complexity of polysomnography (PSG) monitoring, and develop a variety of new SAHS monitoring devices to
reduce the need for time-consuming traditional PSG monitoring. This paper reviewed SAHS detection methods and illustrated the
advantages and limitations of different monitoring devices used in SAHS detection, analyzed the application status of software
algorithms in the detection of sleep apnea, and put forward prospects for its future research and development.
