Abstract:The multi-dimensional and multi-parameter imaging of dual energy spectrum CT can be used for the diagnosis and
differential diagnosis of tumors, prediction of pathological grading, tumor prognosis and curative effect follow-up. For the application
of dual energy spectrum CT to renal cell carcinoma, it mainly focuses on the virtual flat scan single energy image/iodine map, helpful
for the discovery of renal masses, the correlation between the characteristics of energy spectrum curve and pathological grading,
the diagnosis and differential diagnosis of different histological types of renal cell carcinoma, perfusion imaging and microvascular
development of renal cell carcinoma, efficacy evaluation of comprehensive treatment, radiomics and texture analysis, etc. The purpose
of this paper is to explain the basic principle of dual-energy spectral CT imaging and its wide application in clinic, and to review the
emerging radiomics and artificial intelligence in recent years.
