Abstract:Schizophrenia is a serious mental disorder, mainly the abnormal mental activity which seriously affect patient’s quality of
life and work ability. The cause of schizophreniais is still unclear. Traditional imaging diagnosis has very limited diagnostic value for
this disease. Radiomics is a non-invasive diagnostic method based on image feature. Through the high-through put extraction, and
screening the radiomics features of the focus of infection which is difficult to be found by naked eye in medical images, the radiomics
model is created. This can realize a deeper level of data mining, analysis and prediction of the image data information, and assist
physicians in the diagnosis of the disease to make the most accurate and has good clinical application value. This paper reviews the
epidemiology, pathogenesis, definition and analysis methods of radiomics and its application in schizophrenia, in order to provide
theoretical basis for the early diagnosis and treatment of schizophrenia.
