Abstract:Objective To explore the diagnostic value of epicardial adipose tissue volume (EATV) and epicardial adipose tissue
thickness (EATT) measured by multi-slice spiral CT (MSCT) for in-stent restenosis (ISR) after coronary stent implantation.
Methods A total of 150 patients who underwent percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) re-examination in our hospital from
October 2019 to September 2021 were selected. They were divided into ISR group and non-ISR group and MSCT was performed.
The EATV and EATV were measured. And the levels of serum tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α), high sensitive C-reactive protein
(hs-CRP) and interleukin-6 (IL-6) were measured. They were grouped according to whether ISR occurred or not, and the correlation
analysis and the risk factor analysis of ISR after PCI were carried out. Results After diagnosis, there were 41 patients in the ISR
group and 109 patients in the non-ISR group. The results of this study showed that EATV, EATT and stent implantation time in the
ISR group were significantly higher than those in the non-ISR group (P<0.05), and serum levels of TNF-α, hs-CRP and IL-6 in the
ISR group were significantly higher than those in the non-ISR group (P<0.001). EATV and TATT were positively correlated with
serum TNF-α, hs-CRP and IL-6 (r=0.793, 0531, 0.582, 0.682, 0.727, 0.783; all P<0.05). EATV, EATT and serum levels of TNF-α,
hs-CRP, IL-6 and stent implantation time were all risk factors for ISR (P<0.05). EATV and EATV had good results in the diagnosis
of postoperative ISR in PCI patients (AUC=0.941, 0.912; both P<0.001). Conclusion EATT and EATV are positively correlated with
a number of inflammatory factors. EATT, EATV, serum levels of TNF-α, hs-CRP, IL-6 and stent implantation time are all risk factors
for ISR after PCI. MSCT detects EATT and EATV can be used as a diagnostic index of ISR in patients after PCI.
