Abstract:Objective To explore the imaging characteristics and application value of multi-arterial phase imaging based on united
compressed sensing (uCS) technology in hepatic magnetic resonance imaging. Methods Forty-two cases of liver mass diagnosed in
our hospital were selected and underwent multi-arterial liver MRI based on uCS technology. The multi-group arterial phase images
based on uCS technology (uCS group) were obtained and compared with the single-arterial phase images based on parallel imaging
(PI). Image artifact, signal to noise ratio (SNR), liver signal coefficient of variation (CV) and enhancement effect of lesions were also
comprehensively evaluated between two groups. Results The comprehensive evaluation of image quality in the late arterial phase uCS
group was better than that in the PI single arterial phase group: the image artifact scores was (3.81±0.45) scores vs. (3.19±0.94) scores
(P<0.05). The SNR of the right liver image was (244.87±62.66) vs. (191.19±51.13) (P<0.05). The CV of the right liver image in
uCS group was better than that of the PI group [(0.045±0.010) vs. (0.051±0.011)] (P<0.05), which could dynamically display the
continuous enhancement process of lesions. Conclusion Multi-arterial phase imaging based on uCS technology can be applied to
enhanced liver MRI, which can reduce arterial artifacts while ensuring image quality, optimizing the arterial phase and providing
more tumor vascular information.
