Abstract:Objective To build automatic mode of medical technical examination to prevent and control the epidemic in the
postepidemic era, reduce the number of patients coming to the hospital for examination and stay in the hospital, avoid cross infection
in the hospital, and improve the patient’s medical experience. Methods The examination process was optimized and upgraded, and
the data interaction between the examination reservation system and HIS and PACS was realized through the integrated platform.
The automatic reservation, self-check-in and automatic registration of more than 10 examination items such as CT, MRI and ultrasound
were realized. Results After the system went online, the average waiting time of CT, MRI and ultrasound patients was shortened
from (45±10) min, (90±18) min and (34±8) min to (27±6) min, (61±9) min and (25±5) min, respectively, and the differences
were statistically significant (P<0.05). The inspection appointments and registration services related positions in hospital decreased
by about 50%. The missed appointment rates of CT, MRI and ultrasound decreased from 8.5%, 7.9% and 12.6% to 1.3%, 2.1% and
5.2%, respectively, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion The application of medical technology
examination automation mode can effectively reduce the contact and aggregation of patients, greatly shorten the waiting time of
patients, and give full play to the advantages of informatization in epidemic prevention and control.
