Abstract:Objective To study the value of three-dimensional speckle tracking combined with Tei index in the evaluation of cardiac
function after percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) in patients with acute myocardial infarction (AMI). Methods A total of 90
AMI patients treated with PCI in the First Affiliated Hospital of Hebei North University from January 2019 to December 2021 were
selected as the research subjects. All patients were examined by echocardiography. Left ventricular end diastolic diameter (LVEDD),
left ventricular end systolic diameter (LVESD), left ventricular end diastolic volume (LVEDV), left ventricular end systolic volume
(LVESV) and left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) were measured, and Tei index was calculated. Left ventricular systolic global
longitudinal strain (GLS), global radial strain (GRS), global circumferential strain (GCS) and global area strain (GAS) were obtained
by real-time three-dimensional speckle tracking imaging. The changes of GLS, GRS, GCS, GAS and Tei index after PCI were
compared, and the cardiac function was observed. The relationship between three-dimensional speckle tracking imaging index, Tei
index and cardiac function was determined through correlation analysis. Results The levels of LVEDD, LVEDV, LVESV and GLS,
GRS, GCS, GAS and Tei indexes were significantly changed after operation. The correlation analysis showed that GLS, GCS, GAS
and Tei indexes were positively correlated with LVEDD, LVESD, LVEDV and LVESV (P<0.05), and negatively correlated with
LVEF (P<0.05); GRS was negatively correlated with LVEDD, LVESD, LVEDV, LVESV (P<0.05), and positively correlated with
LVEF (P<0.05). Conclusion Three-dimensional speckle tracking technology can be used to evaluate the cardiac function of AMI
patients after PCI. Combined with Tei index, the evaluation efficiency can be further improved to help early detection of cardiac
function changes in patients.
