Abstract:Objective To develop an online psychology experiment platform based on JsPsych (hereinafter referred to as “online
experiment platform”) to provide convenience for scientific researchers to carry out experiments. Methods The online experiment
platform technically adopted the front and back end separation and browser/server (B/S) architecture. It took online design and
operation experiments as the core function, and network link sharing as the main way to carry out experiments. At the same time,
it was provided by cloud service support. Results The performance of the online experimental platform and the commonly used
software in this field was monitored. At the same time, it was compared with OpenSesame to carry out the related error memory
experiment. The experimental results were not significantly different. The consumption of CPU and memory of the online
experimental platform was significantly reduced, and the response time of the main interfaces was within 3 s. Conclusion The
online experimental platform can achieve the similar experimental development effect with similar software, and occupy less system
resources and provide cloud service support, which provides greater convenience for the development of psychological experiments.
