Research on the Construction of Hospital Equipment Management Information Platform

Abstract:Objective To realize the whole hospital area, whole subject and whole process management of medical equipment through
the construction of equipment information platform, and achieve the objectives of business linkage, information connectivity and
data sharing between management departments and clinical departments. Methods The Internet of things technology was used to
achieve the networked management of medical and equipment, and the process was optimized and the time was shortened and the
efficiency of equipment allocation was improved by scanning two-dimensional code and wechat news instead of traditional repair
report. Use RFID digital labels to realize the positioning and automatic inventory of operating room equipment using digital labels.
The performance assessment module of large radiation equipment realized the lean cost analysis of medical equipment. Results The
information management platform based on the Internet of Things improves the maintenance efficiency of equipment and saves a lot
of time statistically significant (P<0.05). The satisfaction of equipment managers was improved statistically significant (P<0.05). The
increase of income and expenditure ratio improves the utilization rate and perfect rate of equipment, brings the economic and social
benefits of medical equipment into play, and realizes the “whole life cycle” management of the hospital’s huge and diverse medical
equipment assets. Conclusion The construction of hospital equipment management platform improves hospital operation efficiency
and reduces human and material capital, which will surely play a more important role in the future smart hospital.
