Abstract:Objective To improve the management efficiency of uninterruptible power system (UPS) in medical institutions, reduce
fault response time, and ensure the safety of medical equipment power supply. Methods The intelligent monitoring system of UPS in
medical institutions based on the internet of things was designed and developed to collect the temperature, voltage, internal resistance
and other parameters of each battery. The UPS in multiple hospital districts were integrated into online centralized management.
Results We have realized centralized management of UPS, real-time battery status monitoring, abnormal battery status alarm and
historical data query. The regular inspection pass rate has increased from 69% to 100%. Conclusion Through the implementation of
the UPS intelligent monitoring system for medical institutions based on the internet of things, the management efficiency of UPS has
been improve effectively.
