Abstract:This paper presents research and development of a non-invasive ventilator humidifier liquid backflow prevention device, which is mainly composed of a stainless steel seat, a clamping device, a liquid level detecting and reversing valve control device. A photoelectric switch and a liquid level meter are adapted to monitor the inclination degree of the humidification liquid level. Then, the connection/disconnection of the circuit is controlled by the reversing valve control device according to the detection results so as to prevent the liquid inside the humidifier from flowing back to the ventilator. The device demonstrates its safe, reliable and cost-effective features in preventing liquid backflow in the humidifier without any changes to the current humidifier, which can be used together with multiple ventilators and deserve wider application and promotion.
