Abstract:This paper introduced the design and implementation of a new wireless low-power electrode-pad ECG (Electrocardiogram) recorder, which mainly consisted of the electrode-pad connection module, ECG front end, main unit, Bluetooth, wireless charging module, lithium battery, stable voltage module and power management module. The low-power ECG capture chip ADS1191and single-chip microcomputer MSP430F2112 constituted the signal capture circuit. The ECG signal was sent through the Bluetooth module to the mobile terminal for displaying and further analysis. The recorder was powered by lithium battery and can be charged through a new wireless charging technology. The wireless Low-power ECG recorder had no external interface and was equipped with the waterproof function. Additionally, this portable and low-power recorder could record one-lead ECG signals for several hours, which should be applied to daily real-time monitoring of ECG signals.
