Abstract：In view of the current limitations of paper-based management of clinical pathway, we highly integrated the clinical pathway with HIS, and built the clinical pathway information system, which combined with the information construction and practical medicine situation in our hospital, could be used to monitor and improve the medical service quality, thus, medical costs could be reduced and patients' satisfaction could be improved. The clinical pathway system that applied in The First People's Hospital of Nantong has gained acceptance by all the medical staff and management departments, which ensures the application effects of clinical pathway.
