Abstract:With advantages of comfort and durability, wearable medical devices have received people’s more and more attention. This paper chooses the conductive fabric as the ECG electrodes of ECG monitor, and designs the wearable ECG acquisition system according to the characteristics of the fabric-based active electrodes. The system mainly consists of two parts: ECG acquisition analog front-end part and MCU system. ECG acquisition analog front-end amplifies weak ECG signals collected from fabric-based active electrodes and filtered them to get high SNR and stable ECG waveform of the patient. MCU system model uses MSP430F149 chip from TI Company as the microprocessor, which converts ECG analog signal into digital signals, then the signals were written to Flash. The ECG data is sent to the computer through serial interface for further analysis. Winbond’s W25Q256 Flash chip is adopted as the storage medium with memory 256 Mbits. It can continuously store a patient’s ECG data for 24 h at 150 Hz sampling frequency.
