Abstract:Objective To study the feasibility and value of clinical application of double cylinder pressure injector in digital subtraction angiography (DSA) of deep vein of lower extremity. Methods A total of 59 patients with lower extremity venous disease were selected as the research objects. All patients were randomly divided into two groups, the control group used a single high-pressure syringe to inject contrast medium, while the experimental group used double cylinder pressure syringe to inject contrast medium and normal saline in sequence, and then the two groups underwent DSA of lower extremity vein. The differences of contrast medium emptying and image quality between the two groups were compared. Results The clear rate of iliac vein and inferior vena cava in experimental group was higher than that in control group (32.07% and 26.96%). The emptying time of tibiofibular vein, femoral popliteal vein, iliac vein and
inferior vena cava in experimental group was (28.99±8.21), (20.80±5.15), (12.11±2.89),(5.25±3.04) s, respectively, which were statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion DSA of lower extremity deep vein with double cylinder pressure syringe is better than that of single cylinder pressure injector in contrast medium emptying and image quality, and it is safe and feasible.
