Abstract:Objective Clinical dosimetry verification of AiPlan 3D radiotherapy planning system was carried out to investigate the
safety and validity of AiPlan 3-D radiotherapy treatment planning system (TPS). Methods A total of 60 patients who had completed
the radiotherapy planning design on Pinnacle Treatment planning system were randomly selected. The CT images and RT Structures
of the 60 patients were transmitted to AiPlan Treatment planning system through DICOM. And the AiPlan system was used to redesign
the radiation plan for 60 clinical cases. The absolute dose and two-dimensional dose of Pinnacle and AiPlan groups were
verified respectively, and their dose verification results were compared. Meanwhile, Dose distribution at the center and near the
radiation plan was compared between the two groups, and the results of planned dose verification of the two groups were analyzed
by statistical method. Results The AiPlan radiotherapy planning system was capable of implementing the functions required for the
design of the reverse intensity modulated radiotherapy plan. All the 60 radiotherapy plans designed by AiPlan TPS could meet the
clinical dose requirements. The absolute point dose error range was -3.27%~3.98%, and the Gamma pass rate was 97.5%±2.8% for
2-D dose verification, which showed no statistical difference compared with the results of Pinnacle TPS (t=0.149, 1.858丨 P=0.882,
P=0.068). Conclusion AiPlan TPS is upto the similar level of the imported equipment in terms of dose calculation performance,
which can meet the clinical requirements.
