Abstract:Facing difficulties and other shortcomings of the traditional infusion mode, including failure to warning in time and wiring,
this paper proposed a Wi-Fi wireless sensor network architecture based on free competition mode, and developed a new intelligent
infusion alarm system based on this model. The system can transmit and alarm infusion information in real time between hospital bed
and nurse station through Wi-Fi. The medical staff can monitor the infusion status of patients in remote VGUS terminal. It realized
function of safe infusion without accompanying. Through the clinical application in a national third class B hospital, it verified that
the Wi-Fi wireless system can “go through the wall” and transmited infusion information in time within the range of more than 200 m. The
monthly average false alarm rate of infusion state was less than 0.5‰, which meet the infusion requirement of medical staff and
patients, and achieved the expected goal of both doctors and patients.
