Abstract:Objective The management of hospital medical waste was carried out by means of informatization technology to ensure
the safety standard of medical waste recovery and transfer process and avoid the loss of medical waste in the hospital. Methods The
closed loop management of hospital medical waste was established through ibeacon bluetooth precise positioning technology. The
information-based management mode replaced the traditional medical waste management mode and the medical waste management
data platform was established. The working staff went to each clinical department to collect medical waste according to the designated
route, used the device terminal to read the barcode of the medical staff involved in the handover. The supervision department checked
the production and handover of medical waste in each department through the online monitoring platform. Results The supervision
department made use of the online monitoring platform to conduct real-time monitoring and visual monitoring of the recovery and
transfer process of medical waste. The operation of workers and clinical departments was convenient and efficient. Conclusion The
closed loop management mode of hospital medical waste based on the Internet platform helps to ensure the standardized management
of hospital medical waste in real time and efficiently, and improves the informatization and intelligence level of medical waste
supervision, which is worthy of promotion.
