Abstract:Objective In order to optimize the allocation of medical equipment resources and improve the utilization rate of medical
equipment, our institute established a equipment deployment center in 2015. However, in the recent past, all the equipments in the
deployment center have been borrowed. Some departments have not used the equipment in the center when they need it. This is
inconsistent with the original intention of our establishment of the deployment center. Our aim is to meet the equipment borrowing
requests of all departments as much as possible and improve the turnover rate of the equipment in the deployment center. Methods
From September 25, 2017 to April 30, 2017, we launched a quality control circle campaign with the theme of “Improving the
turnover rate of medical equipment in the equipment deployment center” to improve the turnover rate of equipment. Results After
the quality control circle activity, the equipment deployment link failure was greatly reduced, and the corresponding equipment
turnover rate increased from 13.87% before the improvement to 23.33% after the improvement. The circle activity also received
considerable economic benefits. Conclusion This quality control circle activity can improve the turnover rate of medical equipment
in the equipment deployment center.
