Two Cases of Troubleshooting for Water Cooling System of Synergy Linear Accelerator

Abstract:In order to discuss the maintenance methods of water cooling system of Synergy linear accelerator, the principle of water
cooling system of Synergy linac was analyzed, and the experience of 2 cases of fault maintenance was summarized in this paper. The
results showed that the common causes of water temperature failure in water cooling system were refrigeration failure of external
circulation system, water flow control valve failure and water temperature sensor fault. The common causes of water pressure fault
were low water pressure of internal circulation system, abnormal pressure regulating air bag pressure, and failure of flow pressure
switch. The deep understanding of the principle of water cooling system can help the maintenance personnel to quickly locate the
fault points, improve the efficiency of maintenance. Paying attention to the daily maintenance and preventive maintenance can help
reduce the failure rate of the equipment and ensure the normal operation of the equipment.
