Abstract:Objective To reduce the failure rate of autoclave sterilization equipment via exploring and carrying out quality control
circle management activities. Methods Analysis tools of fish bone diagram, Plato and so on were used to carry out quality control
activities in accordance with the work plan. The status quo of autoclave sterilization equipment and the main causes of failure were
reviewed. Finally, the countermeasures were found out and a standard was formed. Results According to the characteristics of
the project, standardized operation procedures for the use of autoclaving sterilization equipment and the standardized maintenance
specifications were formulated, the role of maintenance was strengthened. The failure rate was effectively reduced and fully
guaranteed the operation of the hospital. Conclusion Both of the sense of teamwork cohesion and ability to ensure clinical services
are enhanced by organizing quality control circle activities. In addition, the management efficiency and clinical satisfaction are
improved.
