Abstract:Objective To refine the clinical information management process of radiotherapy and improve the professional level of
radiotherapy information management through the modular design of the clinical practical radiotherapy information management
system. Methods In the present study, the clinical needs of different majors such as doctors, physicists, technicians and engineers
were firstly analyzed. Then we collected their usage habits and the processes of department management. Finally, this software
was designed by structure modularization and demand functionalization. Results The whole process of radiotherapy business,
quality control management and data statistics and other functions could be completed, and it realized the comprehensive function,
process specification, business clarity and management orderly. Conclusion The system designed by the effective combination of
modularization, functionalization and clinical use can meet the needs of clinical practice. It can improve the management level of
radiotherapy process and quality control, and it is also used as an independent subsystem of the hospital information management system.
