Abstract:Objective To obtain the managerial approach which is economical, practical and executable, and to effectively solve
the problems which are found in the daily Management of narcotic and psychotropic drugs in the Department of Anesthesiology.
Methods With the help of some intelligent hardware equipments, through process reconstruction and information integration, using
the simple medical kit as the a medium, through seamless integration with perioperative business systems, hospital information
systems, etc., closed-loop management was achieved in the preparation, receiving, medication and charging, return, and verification
of anesthesia drugs. Results After the scheme implementation, the time for anesthesiologists to receive drugs, return drugs, charge
drugs, and nurses to manage drugs and the incidence of errors were significantly shorter than those in the traditional group, with
statistically significant differences (P<0.05). Meanwhile, on the premise of achieving the expected management goals, the cost of
scheme was only 1/3 of that of intelligent medicine cabinet, which had excellent economical. Conclusion The intelligent hardware
based information management model for hemp essence drugs is economical, practical, and easy to operate, which can improve work
efficiency and management level, enhance the precision management and safe drug use level of hospital level hemp essence drugs,
and has promotion value.
