Abstract:Objective To explore measures to effectively control and reduce the failure risk of XHA600D medical linear accelerator
and improve the rate of operation. Methods The basic structure and operation principle of XHA600D medical linear accelerator were
analyzed; the rate of operation of the accelerator from 2018 to 2020 was calculated to be the current value. The faults of XHA600D
medical linear accelerator in actual use from 2018 to 2020 were classified, counted and analyzed by specific charts. The mind map
was used to summarized the faults in the use of linear accelerator according to three risk factors. Risk points and corresponding
control measures should be paid attention to in the use and maintenance of accelerator were further summarized. Results The rate of
operation of the accelerator in 2021 was 98.9%, an increase of 3.9% compared with 95.0% in 2018 to 2020. Conclusion Accurate
induction and analysis of the risk points of accelerator failure, early maintenance intervention, three-level maintenance and other
countermeasures can effectively control the failure risk and effectively improve the rate of operation of the equipment.
