Abstract:Using the machine according to the operation specifications in daily work and taking a proactive way to maintain the
equipment can effectively reduce the failure rate of the machine, improve the utilization rate of the machine, which can make the
equipment better serve patients. This article briefly introduced the basic composition of helical tomotherapy system and the working
principle of magnetron, multi-leaf collimator and other main components. The causes of dose rate instability and error reporting of
multi-leaf collimator system were analyzed in detail. The maintenance principle of simplicity before complexity was adopted, and the
specific trouble shooting methods were given respectively. It provided reference for peers to deal with similar faults.
