Output Dose Measurement and Stability Retrospective Analysis of
Synergy Medical Accelerator in 3 Years

Abstract:Objective To analyze the theoretical basis and specific methods of Synergy accelerator output dose measurement, and
retrospectively analyze its stability and influencing factors through the 3-year absorbed dose measurement results. Methods Firstly,
the weekly output dose of the Synergy accelerator was measured in accordance with the requirements of IAEA TRS-277, and
statistical software SPSS was used to analyze the measurement results of 141 weekly tests and find out the abnormal
points. Results The weekly test results of the commonly used nominal energy of 6 MV were P>0.05 by single sample K-S
test, which was in line with the requirement of normal distribution.The P value of abnormal points increased significantly after
recalibration, and there was no statistical difference before and after calibration (P>0.05). The results showed that the data met
the relevant national standards and the standard of stability and dose deviation ≤±3% in AAPM TG-142, which was close to the
requirement of IAEA-277 dose deviation <2%. Conclusion The output dose of Synergy accelerator in our hospital was stable, and
the weekly test results showed normal distribution, which could meet the basic requirements of clinical treatment.
