Abstract:The current polarization measurement method is not suitable for the polarization measurement of the infrared light
therapy apparatus. In the present study, the measurement method of polarization degree was described. The polarization of the
infrared light therapy apparatus was measured using the existing equipment to build the measurement light path and using the
laser narrow-band filter to simulate the monochromatic light. For each treatment head of the infrared light therapy apparatus,
the polarization degree of the output light was above 95%. Meanwhile, various factors affecting the polarization measurement
were analyzed, which would contribute to the improvement of the measurement method and measurement accuracy of polarization
degree of infrared polarization light therapy apparatus.
