Abstract:In the face of individual differences in bone tumor patients, it is a big challenge for orthopedic surgeons to resect the
bone tumor accurately and completely, reconstruct the bone defect after the bone tumor resection, reduce the recurrence rate of
the tumor and restore the function of the limb to the maximum extent. This paper mainly introduced the new 3D printing model to
understand the complex anatomic relationship around the bone tumor, the 3D printing osteotomy guide rapid bone tumor resection,
the 3D printing prosthesis and implant reconstruction of bone defect after tumor resection, the application of 3D biological printing
in the bone tumor operation and the five aspects of current shortcomings of 3D printing technology. The application of 3D printing
technology in bone tumor surgery can achieve more accurate preoperative planning and design, simplify the complex operation,
significantly improve the therapeutic effect of surgery, and provide a new idea for better clinical treatment of bone tumor.
