Abstract:Objective To investigate the application effect of special nursing project on quality improvement in CT examination
process, establish safe and efficient CT examination procedure. Methods CT examinations that using traditional procedures
from April to September 2017 were set as the control group. CT examinations that using the new improvement process with
special nursing project from April to September 2018 were set as the observation group. Related indicators of the two groups
were compared. Results After CT examination process optimized by special nursing project, workload was greatly increased, waiting time
of patients was reduced from (90±45) min to (52±38) min, waiting time of inpatients was reduced from (90±35) min to (56±26) min.
The awareness rate of health education increased from 92% to 96.6%, while the preparation failure rate decreased from 0.52% to 0.16%.
At the same time, the rate of repeat examination due to nursing decreased from 0.15% to 0.08%, patient’s satisfaction increased from 85%
to 96%. The purpose of special nursing project improvement was achieved. Conclusion The improved CT process is a benign cycle,
which can shorten the waiting time, reduce the failure rate of preparation and the rate of repeated examination, and improve the
quality of CT examination. It is worth popularizing and applying.
