Abstract:Objective Single ended primary inductor converter (SEPIC) is a kind of highly efficient power conversion circuit with
benefit of boost & buck. The aim of this study was to design a device with high ability for environment adaptation, and with the input
voltage of 2.5~25 V. Methods A kind of DC power supply circuit was designed based on the principle of the circuit in this paper.
Results It had a wide range of input voltage because the design of auxiliary power supply. The main working parameters of the
switching tube, inductance and capacitance were analyzed. The paper introduced an estimation formula for the maximum inductance
which was rarely discussed. Conclusion The SEPIC is a kind of highly efficient power conversion circuit with high security.
