Abstract:Objective Driven by the policy of digital transformation, to further explore the use of information technology to provide
new ideas for hospital management. Methods Taking Shanghai Chest Hospital as the research background, this research used the data
base to realize real-time monitoring and intelligent analysis of the surgical flow of patients in the hospital, designed and implemented
a surgical traceability visualization platform through four scenarios including patients’ families, anesthesiologists, nursing staff,
and medical administrators, and empirically analyzed the application effect. Results In 4 months of being online, the surgical flow
data of more than 40000 patients were recorded, the on-time rate increased to an average of 95.07%, and the per capita preoperative
waiting time and per capita receiving time were shortened by 38.7% and 12.5%, respectively, with statistical significance (P<0.05). It
realized data-driven decision-making, and further promoted the coordination and intelligence of hospital operation and management.
Conclusion The service mode combining automatic information collection technology and visual reports can form data-driven
decision-making, effectively improve the operation and management efficiency of hospitals, and further improve the quality of
medical services, which is the focus of the construction of smart hospitals.
