Abstract:Objective Left ventricular wall movement and systolic synchronization were evaluated by three-dimensional full-volume
imaging combined with velocity vector technique in patients with preeclampsia (PE). Methods Echocardiography parameters of
48 PE patients were obtained by three-dimensional full-volume imaging combined with velocity vector technology, meanwhile,
30 normal pregnant women were selected as the control group, and the two groups were compared, and ROC curves were drawn
for relevant parameters. At the same time, the PE group related parameters were analyzed by bivariate correlation. Results The
comparison of parameters between groups showed that the three horizontal global longitudinal strain (LS), three horizontal global
radial strain (RS), three horizontal global circumferential strain (CS), and three horizontal global longitudinal velocity (LV) in
left ventricular apical section, left ventricular mass index (LVMI), the 16 segment systolic dyssynchrony index (SDI16), and 16
segment dispersion end systole (DISPES16) in the PE group was greater than that of the control group (P<0.05). ROC curve
analysis showed that the combination of parameters (LVMI, LS, LSR, SDI16, DISPES16) had the greatest diagnostic efficacy for
impaired cardiac function in patients with PE, AUC was 0.882, 95%CI was 0.806 to 0.958, sensitivity and specificity were 82.43%
and 81.36% respectively. The correlation analysis of parameters in PE group showed that LVMI was positively correlated with
SDI16 and DISPES16 (r=0.29, 0.33; P<0.05), and LSR were negatively correlated with SDI16, DISPES16 (r=-0.31, -0.36; P<0.05).
Conclusion Three dimensional full volume imaging combined with velocity vector technology can quantitatively evaluate the left
ventricular wall motion and left ventricular systolic synchrony in patients with PE, and evaluate the left ventricular function more
comprehensively. It can more effectively and early detect the abnormal changes of left ventricular function in patients with PE.
