Abstract:Ultra-wideband technology (UWB) is a non-carrier communication technology, which uses non-sine wave narrow pulse
transmission data with nanosecond to microsecond level. As the most accurate commercial positioning system, it has the advantages
of low power consumption, high speed, multipath effect, high safety and so on. This paper reviewed the research progress of
hyperwideband location service technology in the monitoring system of vital signs of patients. Based on the research progress at
home and abroad, this paper firstly introduced indoor positioning technology, and summarized the research and application results
of indoor positioning technology in medical industry. Then the application and research status of ultra-broadband technology and
the development of wearable medical devices and indoor maps were analyzed. Finally, the future application of uwb location service
technology was analyzed and prospected in this paper.
