Abstract:Objective To find the method to control the infusion dosage of the high pressure syringe so as to
decrease the damage caused by X-ray to both the patient and the operator. Methods The parameter-injection
delay time was controlled. Patients were divided into two groups: the experimental group and the control
group. The patients in the experimental group were injected with contrast medium by the method of controlling
inject delay time, whereas the patients in the control group were injected with contrast medium by the method
of controlling expose delay time. Results Both the experimental group and the control group could satisfy the
clinical diagnostic requirements. In the experimental group, the proportion of images with noncontrast media
has declined, and the surface dose has also decreased. Conclusion By optimizing the parameters of high
pressure syringe, the high quality images can be acquired with low surface dose, and thus reduce the damage
to the patients and medical workers during radiation therapy.
