Abstract:Radiation therapy based on electron linear accelerator has entered the era of image guided radio therapy.
There are two types of image guidance: ionizing radiation and non-ionizing radiation. The former includes electron
portal imaging system and cone beam computer tomography guidance system. The latter includes ultrasonic guidance
system, electromagnetic tracking system, nuclear magnetic guidance system and optical surface imaging (OSI) system.
OSI system has its own unique advantages in clinical application, the scope of clinical application, clinical accuracy and
repeatability, patient comfort and radiation safety. This paper summarized the application and problems of OSI system in
radiotherapy of different tumor sites in recent years, in order to provide help for improving the accuracy of target therapy.
