Development of Training System of Laparoscopic Operation Based on Virtual Reality Technology

Abstract:Objective To design the training system of laparoscopic operation for clinical teaching. Methods To development the training system through the combination of virtual reality technology and surgical instruments. 120 clinicians were randomly devided into research group (60 cases) and control group (60 cases). Clinicians in research group were trained with virtual operation system while clinicians in control group were trained with traditional method. Comparing the appraisal results of research group and control group with statistical method. Results There were statistical differences between appraisal results of research group and those of control group (P<0.05), which showed that training effect of research group was obvious better than that of control group. Conclusion Learning interest and skill level of clinicians have been improved with the application of the training system of laparoscopic operation, which should be promoted in clinical teaching.
