Design of Monitoring System for CO2 Incubator Based on Raspberry Pi and Internet of Things

Abstract:Objective To realize the remote real-time monitoring of its working state, the monitoring system of CO2 incubator was
built by using the cloud platform technology of internet of things. Methods As the main controller, the Raspberry Pi read the serial
port data of the incubator, ran Python program to analyze the data and obtained the key parameters such as temperature, CO2
and O2
concentration. The parameters were uploaded to the OneNET cloud platform for display and record. Results The system realized
the remote real-time monitoring of CO2 incubator status. Compared with the traditional monitoring method, the average data refresh
time of this system was shortened to 3.0 s, the average alarm reception time was shortened to (5.0±1.0) s, and the historical data
can be traced back up to More than 30 days. Conclusion The use of this system can ensure the safety of embryos in the incubator of
reproductive center of hospital, and has high application value.
