Abstract:Three-dimensional printing (3DP) technology, which can “change our world”, has attracted worldwide attention with its
flexibility and precision. With the development of 3DP technology in recent decades, the revolutionary change of manufacturing
industry has swept the world. 3D bioprinting is a new technology which takes living cells, biomaterials, and growth factors as
main components, aiming at printing living tissues and organs. It has been gradually applied in the fields of regeneration and
reconstruction, such as bones, stents, artificial blood vessels, and cardiac tissues. This paper mainly summarizes the research and
application progress of biological 3DP in medical field, discusses the research status, application situation and problems of biological
3DP, and looks forward to its development prospects in the field of medicine.
