Abstract:Objective During the corona virus disease 2019 (COVID-19) epidemic, the reconstruction and expansion of designated
hospitals need to solve many challenges in medical equipment configuration for tight schedule, urgent tasks, and great difficulty.
Methods This article mainly discussed the principles of medical equipment configuration under the epidemic situation, including
different type and number of configurations and the special requirements for infectious diseases, implementation of government
emergency procurement, determination of the installation order of medical equipment, implementation strategy of inventory and
training丨 quality assurance strategy, guarantee practice of equipment accessories, consumables and reagents, and the difference
with regular hospitals. Results Through the reviews and summary the hospital gained experience and improvement from every
aspects. Conclusion To accumulate experience for the equipment support of the hospital when facing emergency, routine renovation
and expansion丨 it is strong practicality and reproducibility.
